design consultancy visit, planning your garden design

Design Consultancy Visit

A Design Consultancy Visit is where you the client want to get a feel for what might be possible in your garden, either within the budget you currently have or because you would like some general ideas, and to understand the approximate costs involved.

A forward planning ideas and budget meeting, if you like, where the garden design or planting design may not start for a year or two.

You may also have some more pressing issues in the garden that you would like resolved before initiating a full garden design or planting design.

The emphasis of the Design Consultancy meeting and the expectations of immediate outcome are therefore slightly different to either an Initial Design Visit or a Garden Consultancy Visit.

A Design Consultancy Visit might lead us to prepare to further work for you, for example a full garden design. But it is a stand-alone service and is complete in itself.

The Design Consultancy service includes the following: –

  • We agree a brief – issues to be discussed – beforehand and the appropriate fee
  • Have the meeting with you in your garden – approximately 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 hours,  depending on your requirements (time agreed beforehand)
  • Following the meeting we provide you with a written document containing: –
    • An overview of our meeting
    • A few of the suggested ideas, with ballpark figures
    • An action plan for you to move forward with when you’re ready

Furthermore, we agree a date when we should contact you as a courtesy follow-up.

The cost for this service, including fee and related expenses starts at £325
