Horticultural Advice and Consultancy

We offer Horticultural Advice and Consultancy for all sizes of garden project; from a single front garden to the communal grounds of 4 hectare housing developments.

We can advise both commercial and domestic clients on a wide range of queries, from plant health issues to legal requirements and suggest specialist firms to resolve the issue where necessary.

So whether you have a tree that needs a health assessment or tree risk assessment; or your house buyer’s report has flung up a query about Japanese Knotweed, we can help with professional advice from a Chartered Horticulturalist.

Horticultural Advice –

Problems with Plants

You may have trees which could potentially damage foundations, underground car parks, and smooth bowling greens. Plews can advise, working with surveyors where necessary, so you get the full benefit of all the experts’ knowledge.

You may have found a suspicious plant in the corner of your light industrial estate or communal garden or in the weedy patch at the back of the cricket pitch.
Plews can make a site visit,  offering horticultural advice on whether the plant is innocent or guilty and what steps you need to take in a written report.

Communal Gardens

We can work with managing agents, residents and groundsmen, improving budget efficiency and the quality of communal gardens with planned maintenance schemes, including site visit and written report, off site testing where required.

Further examples could be an End of Tenancy visit to tidy up a garden and spot any problems; a consultancy site visit and report to address a particular issue such as guidance on TPOs and other relevant legislation; or Pest & disease management.

We can offer lessons to help refresh skills onsite; these can be incorporated into a consultancy scheme, as can full and partial designs or planting designs.

Phone Plews on 020 37474 360 or email  us to discuss the issues you have with your gardens or green space.
